The Bible Does NOT Give Anyone Permission to Beat Their Children and Christians Need to Stop Telling this Lie

COMMENTARY | What a nightmare it can be growing up in a Christian household. Most are simply tormenting the minds of little kids by planting thoughts of burning, forever and ever, for those arbitrarily-defined “sins” which just happen to be centered so often on the very-normal functions of sex and healthy, rational, logical thought.

Others are blatantly sadistic.

Take, for example, these monsters, Johan Glenn Jorg and Kimery Lynn Jorg, of Arizona. The Friendly Atheist tells us of the report about the conditions these two allegedly put the older two of their adopted children through. Tell ya what, I'm going to have to let you read it for yourselves, since I can't type in the rain.

Why I'm truly amazed is, "Spare the rod, spoil the child," is nowhere in the bible. The verse most of the god-damned retards try to pretend quoting is from Proverbs 13:24 (generically from EVERY version but here's a link for you to confirm) "He that spares his rod hates his son. But he that loves his son chastises him early." Here's the thing, even THAT verse doesn't say to beat them. The usage of the word "rod" is a mis-translation. It was supposed to be "staff" - and in the vernacular of the times was a metaphor for authority – as in parental authority - not a stick to hit children with.

And so few of you who call yourselves the “good guys” falsely are willing to even try and understand this one small point. (You REALLY need to do your own, honest reading of that book, for yourselves. Quit being so lazy.)

These god-damned retards who resort first to hitting their children instead of teaching them anything, do so, because a) they enjoy it and b) they are god-damned retards. Too stupid to live, think or even interact socially, they listen to other like-minded-sounding god-damned retards who need and deserve nothing more than a prison term for fraud, like the author of “To Train Up A Child,” Michael Pearl.

Too cowardly and/or lazy to teach children, they opt for the power trip of beating someone smaller than them, just because they're too small to fight back. Well, guess what, jackwagons. We grow up. And, if you're lucky, you'll end up with an angry, abrasive jerk like me – if not – then you create another sociopath like your god-damned, retarded, fraudulent preachers who constantly lie to you.

Fortunately, there are some Christians who, upon realizing they're on the opposing team to Humanity, will abandon this evil paradigm of thought, to then lend their words and actions to the cause of helping others escape.

Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier Arrested; Unsuspecting 12-Year-Old Girl Stabbed 19 Times by Friends

Image courtesy of Waukesha County Sheriff's Department

COMMENTARY | Perhaps this could be considered evidence little kids can't handle life on the Internet unsupervised. I've just learned of the horrifying story of a 12-year-old girl, allegedly lead into the woods in Waukesha, Wisconsin, by two others she believed to be her friends and stabbed a total of 19 times.

According to KMOV, her suspected attackers, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier are charged as adults for charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and bail has been set for each at $500,000. Of course, here in the U.S., defendants are to be considered innocent until proven guilty but, according to the police, the girls have spoken readily with police.

What's most important here though is the victim is alive after having crawled to the road and was discovered by a bicyclist.

This case may very well demonstrate the danger of leaving impressionable children unsupervised online. According to police the two girls were attempting to impress an as-yet-unidentified poster to a website called Creepypasta Wiki, known only as “Slenderman,” who said the only way to “climb up into his realm” was to kill somebody. The site's niche is horror stories.

While hipsters and children everywhere might not like the idea, I'm inclined to believe children might be no more prepared to process an unsupervised online life than they are able to deal with the effects of alcohol or sex at this young of an age. They're welcome to disagree, of course but who cares? They know nothing of life yet. For all their “great-sounding ideas and opinions” they've not been tested by life.

Parents, monitor your children online. They'll have time enough for multiple friends and making their own mistakes in life. But they only get one set of parents, if that much. Do your jobs and raise them so they survive to adulthood, if at all possible.

Three good reasons to fear no evil

Just because I cannot reconcile my understanding of the world around me with a belief in any sort of a deity, it doesn't mean I deny the existence of evil. What I see as evil might not be things like particular words or what consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedrooms, but I certainly see evil in those actions which cause unnecessary harm to others. Evil exists in a variety of forms, and even with no God to point the way, walking knee-deep in its flood is perhaps the most natural thing in life.

Both we non-believers and believers alike must deal with the various forms of evil. Whether a person responds to it by turning inward and praying or whether a person responds by turning inward and rationalizing, the net result is the same. It's still there. The existence of evil by the hands of others is one of those immutable facts of life. Denial will not make it go away and it feeds on our fear.

There are three reasons I will not live my life in fear of the harm some might wish on others. There may be more, but for now, I'm only able to identify these three. Maybe, just maybe, one of them could prove key in helping a reader cope with something they're going through. I sure hope so. That person – whomever they are – is the reason I share this today.

Reason number one to fear no evil: I give as good as I get, maybe better. I'm not a big guy, compared to what most consider big guys. I try not to be loud. I try not to impose on others. So, win or lose, anyone who tries to hurt me, mine or anyone in my company will – at the very least – be left with a scar they can brag about later. I won't lie and claim to have won every challenge in my life. I've lost plenty of encounters (physical or otherwise) but no enemy has ever forgotten me.

Reason number two to fear no evil: I could be wrong. In cases where dealing with a harmful person isn't so much a case of a direct conflict, it could be nothing more than a case of different perspectives. I used to think my ex was evil. I now realize hers was a case of someone doing what they felt they had to do. I used to use the figure-of-speech in that sometimes what appears to be a demon is just an angel with a job to do. For example; a burglar might “think” of the police as the enemy. But all of the rest of society knows the cops are just protecting lives and property. In this case, it's the burglar who would be wise to seek a new line of work. Having done so, he may find those officers to be some great allies. (This is merely for illustrative purposes. I'm neither a burglar nor a cop. Please keep the rumors to yourself.)

Reason number three to fear no evil: Evil people eat their own. This is my primary reason for living my life boldly, even in the face of the most vicious and unnecessarily harmful. Ultimately, even in cases where I might lose a challenge and even in those cases where it's not so much a matter of perspective, evil eventually destroys itself. The burglar has to, at some point, transport their loot in a suspicious manner and the law-of-averages will eventually catch up to them with an officer on patrol. Perhaps they'll break into the home of a well-armed and protective homeowner.

Those in power who would oppress their subjects eventually accumulate too many enemies. Liars and false accusers over-speak their case, eventually giving away a key detail and trip themselves up. Murderers live with the memories of their victims. This list could go on forever. One day, in some way and at the most inconvenient time, evil people do themselves in. I may not get to witness it myself, but I know it happens this way. I've seen it happen enough times to take confidence in my walk through this world. I hope you do too.

Unabomber Ted Kaczynski now suspected of 1982 Tylenol poisoning- Feds requesting DNA

Twenty-nine years later, Law enforcement always gets their man. Infamous as the Unabomber, Ted Kazcynski is now suspected by Federal authorities of involvement in the 1982 Tylenol poisonings, which killed seven.

According to a report from the Modesto Bee, Kaczynski is currently serving a sentence in the federal “Supermax” prison in Florence, Colorado. In an effort to compensate some of the victims of his bombing attacks, the federal government put his worldly possessions up for sale this last Wednesday, May 18, 2011. It was from this sale, other key pieces of information now point to suspicions against him as the poisoner.

During the sale, the Unabomber Manifesto fetched a bid of $10,000, and his hoodie went for $3,000. But it's a letter he wrote, reminding investigators of initial suspicions, which have investigators requesting his DNA, all these years later. The convicted bomber's family did live in the Chicago area, at the time of the bombing. Other sleuths online have suspected him for years.

In his own defense efforts, Kaczyski wrote the court to stop a part of the auction, which he believes might prove his whereabouts, or some other exonerating information. He states "I have never even possessed any potassium cyanide," While anyone would deserve the chance to defend themselves, let's all wait and see what law enforcement learns.
