Google+ is Already Being Ruined by Multi-Level-Marketing Scams

It didn't take long for what I knew wouldn't be any surprise. In fact, I was waiting for it any day now. They have arrived – the Multi-Level-Marketing fraudsters on Google+. I'm not saying Google is pulling anything. It's those suckers who have some “Wonderful New Exciting Business Opportunity Never Seen Before All Over Again,” bullsh*t to push.

These folks all but ruined MySpace. They've added significantly to the annoyance factor on Facebook. Now, before it even really takes off, they're waiting like hungry vultures on Google+ already. Dammit. People like these folks who head these rip-off operations make a mockery of real business and they murder dreams for those who would like to build their own financial freedom.

Before I get too far into this post, I want to point out that I'm not anti-business. I'm anti-scam. Having been burned more times than I can count with false promises and pie-in-the-sky garbage, all for a paltry monthly fee, I was really hoping to just avoid these morons. Please go peddle your crap somewhere else besides Google+.

To be clear: When it comes to folks working with a legitimate business,I'm cool with that. One of my friends makes her own all-natural lotions and soaps. She's welcome. I do support small business. I even support big business. If you're hoping to promote your website, I'm all yours. If you're just wanting to spread the word letting folks know you've some ad-space for sell in your on-or-offline publication, then be my guest. My wall/home-page/circle is yours.

But those of you in Amway, Melaleuca, Herbalife or any other of the hundreds and hundreds of parasite con artist businesses out there, I don't care if your MLM vitamins, lotions or potions are supposed to be the niftiest thing since the discovery of cheese and wine. It doesn't matter to me if your 1000-level-payout-double-helix-forced-binary-matrix online advertising “business” is ran by an expert team of industry experts (translation: Ballsy con artists from Russia) who've been around since before the Internet was even a glimmer in DARPA's eye.

Your name is not “I've Been Paid Twice Already.” Nor is it “The Amazing Tripler.” If all you're about is your so-called “income opportunity,” and you don't even have the good sense or the decency to at least use a human name – hell a dog name would be better – please, please, please just go straight to hell. Don't add me to your circles on Google+. I didn't welcome your junk on MySpace. I've vehemently reported you for spam on Facebook. You're not going to enjoy any more progress with me on Google+, @$$holes. I will be the worst prospect you've ever come across. Also, dear readers, feel free to share your story of how you've been burned by rip-offs.

Virtually painless direct deposit for all of your employees April's A to Z Blog Challenge April 26, 2011 “V”

Wouldn't it be great if your business could just go ahead and step into the 21st century, like your competitors? Imagine being the kind of company willing to put their employees first, and offer the least of benefits, and offered direct deposit.

Within different given industries, some companies come to realize just how valuable the employees are. Besides the customers, a company's staff are the most valuable people around management. Without them, management would be doing the hard work.

Workers might not always say it, but little things like direct deposit are appreciated. Having to cash, or deposit a paycheck into the local bank is a pain. The occasional overdraft/NSF fee is an unnecessary expense, few can afford.

A small investment in the staff will repay the business owners in more ways than money alone. You'll have somewhat more satisfied employees. Heck, one or two might even thank you openly. On top of these benefits, any company with a growing staff, would want such streamlining of their systems, anyway.

But speaking of money – after all, it is important – I think you'll like the rates charged by First ACH. Give 'em a look, and possibly a try. Once you see the convenience of their service (for everyone involved – that includes the company) you'll wonder why you didn't do this years ago!

Crafter's Corner, DeRidder, Louisiana 70634: A YCN Business Review

When Kim Haney, of Crafter's Corner in DeRidder, Louisiana handed me the business card for her and her husband's little shop, she had no idea how big my mouth is. Nobody gave the poor lady a warning about how many people I'd like to bring into her quaint, comfortable, and well-stocked store. She had absolutely no idea how many people out there might like to try a little mayhaw jelly on a biscuit.

Why did we experience Crafter's Corner of DeRidder, Louisiana 70634? We needed a few things. Some appliances, among other little things, and to tour the store located at the corner of Highway 26 and 171 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Their hours are published as Tues through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm,but if you still have questions, they can be called first at 337-396-7612. Being a quick drive for us both,we took the day and visited in person (but I'll bet they'll take an order for mayhaw jelly to be shipped.)

What do they offer at Crafter's Corner, of DeRidder, Louisiana? After Janet and I walked through the appliances outside, we admired the woodwork of several various pieces of furniture, and reveled in its splendor. The work was fantastic. We won't discuss...Read the rest here.

Business Reviews: We Need to Interview Mom and Pop.

All over America, small business owners of all sorts are trying to get their marketing messages out against the chains, and the multinational corporations, and and even the news itself, regardless of the economic forecast.

These businesses are the back bone of the American Way. We, as writers, have in our hands the best way to share some of the best little companies we know, and help to fight the trend of bad economic weather.

Some little flower shop in NW PA, is read about by a hopeful groom in VA, and ba-da-bing! A deal goes through.

We writers may not be able to do much for the auto industry (or can we?) but we can still do something for the small independent businesses ran by folks who live within your local community.

Give those little places your business. Give them a fair review. Help bring your neighbors some traffic of their own! Your pages will love you for it.
